Register Now for the Panhandle Crops Field Day on Aug. 21

Oklahoma State University Agriculture will host the biennial Panhandle Crops Field Day in August for producers to learn about irrigation, cotton, regenerative agriculture in semi-arid ecosystems, cover crops, forage systems, soil health, and corn and sorghum diseases and pests.

 

OSU Agriculture Field Days are educational events presented by OSU Ag Research and OSU Extension share research-based information and resources with Oklahomans. Field days showcase current agricultural research and relevant best practices through presentations, tours, hands-on workshops and discussions. Research at OSU locations across the state is often designed for specific applications based on region.

When: 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 21

 

Where: Oklahoma Panhandle Research and Extension Center (2878 OPSU Farm Road), 1/2 mile northeast of Goodwell on Highway 54.

Check-in begins at 3 p.m. Registration is required by Aug. 11. For more information or to register, visit the Field Days website. Dinner will be included with the event. ODAFF Pesticide and Certified Crop Advisor continuing education units will be offered.
