Symposium Overview

The Biobased Products and Energy Center is hosting a symposium on sustainable energy and biobased products. This one-day event is for faculty, professionals, and students interested in research, Extension, and education efforts that contribute to bioeconomy development and sustainability. The symposium will host a keynote speaker, poster presentations, and support networking opportunities.

 

The symposium will showcase current research in sustainable energy, bioenergy, biofuels, and biobased products and increase interest in the bioeconomy.

 

Join us to foster new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations and partnerships.

 

Call for Poster Presentation Abstracts

Faculty, Graduate Students, & Professionals

 

Abstract Submission Deadline

January 15, 2025 | 5 p.m. CST

 

Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts must be no more than 300 words and succinctly describe the research background, objectives, approaches, and key results or discuss on-going project activities and expected results. Abstracts should not contain bullet points or numbered lists. Standard abbreviations may be used without definition and please spell out any acronyms used in the abstract. Your name, affiliation, other authors, and other related information will be requested. Do not include references in the abstract. Please submit abstract using the abstract for poster presentation form.

 

The final poster should be no larger than of 36”x 48”. The BioPEC Center will provide a supports and easels to display your poster during the symposium.
